Thank God for the rain (.30”) and the cool weather yesterday! The Lord is faithful; please continue to pray for more rain! We worked in the new greenhouse all day planting… done! Lettuce, arugula, beet greens, spinach, edible pod peas, turnips, rutabaga, Rhubarb, Swiss chard, kale, a 6 way mix of herbs, and 3 way mix of radish. Broccoli, cabbage, and brussel sprouts will be planted later. Heidi and I will be in Pierre this weekend, Morgan, and Loften will be here to help you on Saturday. We still have a nice selection of fresh produce for you this week: Tomatoes, grape and pear tomatoes, lots of nice peppers sweet, and hot, someeggplant, sweet and red potatoes, spaghetti squash, and sweet pie pumpkins, also your Heikes Family Farm Honey arrived today, 1# for small shares, and 2# for larger shares.
