Good evening Shareholders and friends of our community. Last week was amazing for Heidi and I in D.C., for me the best part of our “National Pollinator Protection award” was to recognize 2 of my 3 daughters. Today our bee keeper was here picking up his bees in route to their Texas wintering area. As for the farm, we are coming to a close on 2014… Wednesday or Saturday we will have lots of potatoes, and squash (stock up now for the winter), lots of nice greenhouse greens lettuce, spinach and arugula, and still a good amount of herbs. The sky and the weather forecast looks like November to me… I am ready to go duck hunting, when the field work is done for next year’s planting… only 2 days left… It’s been a long year for all of us here on the farm.
