Nice weather continues, outside work on the farm continues. We got 75# of certified organic garlic from Wisconsin on Tuesday. This year’s production will rotate to the west of the house and grove. We spread manure; roto tilled in the manure, and started planting yesterday. I got some good help from SD labor/social
services. We should finish planting 9 new varieties of organic garlic tomorrow from all over the world. Planting conditions have been perfect! This Saturday from the green house we continue to have lots of nice greens! We have Lettuce, Spinach, Arugula, and radishes. Peas and Kohlrabi are not ready yet! I encourage you to come Vermillion area Arts Council next Wednesday Nov, 7th 6pm potluck, The Art of Sustainability. I will speak about our
CSA.
See
you Saturday
