Dear Friends and shareholders,
What a nice beautiful rain… All total we had 2.8” over a week, after tomatoes, peppers, and our 2nd sweetcorn planting. The furrows washed a little on new emerging small seeds like lettuce and carrots but we will see on emergence over the next few days. Garlic, onions, leeks, shallots, potatoes, and early planted sweet corn that were all cultivated once before the rain look great! As we indicated in last week’s email we are now about to the end of greens from the greenhouse and our asparagus! It’s bolting, and went to seed. We will be open Saturday; we will have some herbs and some lettuce. Also we will have Hutterite Chickens and farm fresh eggs. We will have free tickets to the South Dakota Shakespeare festival. We will let you know once outside production is ready by email.
Have a wonderful week
Sam and Heidi
