As for our produce for tomorrow and Saturday we will have lots of potatoes, both red “Norlins” and white “Dakota pearls”, we still have some tomatoes but all the August rain has caused a lot of ground rot. The Zucchini’s are about done, but our 2nd planting of yellow straight neck squash are coming on strong. We still have a good supply of cucumbers, but some have gotten big quickly although they are still good and crisp. We have a large supply of sweet pears and some nice Haralson apples. We just started digging our red and orange carrots (limited supply). We should have a good supply of onions and the last of the leeks will be dug. We plan to deliver to Yankton on Wednesday, Sioux City and Sioux Falls on Thursday. The business school has been very helpful to us in fine tuning our farms CSA business plan and our financial sustainability. Thank you for supporting our CSA. See you Wednesday or Saturday
Sincerely, Sam and Heidi
